TITLE: The Book Thief
AUTHOR: Zusak, Markus
PLOT: It’s the story of Liesel, a girl, during the 2nd World War. Liesel was 9 and she was put up for adoption by her mother to a new family. This family was modest and they disagreed with Nazism. Her new father taught her to read and thanks to the books and her family and friends, Liesel manages to live through the war .
REVIEW: I think this is a fantastic book. It’s easy to read although it’s about a very hard story. You can live with Liesel the horrors of the war from a 9 year-old girl’s point of view. Curiously enough, this book is told by Death.
I’d really recommend this book to everybody that wants to read a good book with a different style.
